Here are some easy recipes that are healthy.

Breakfast: Any cereal that says 4 g of Dietary fiber on the side of the box. Have it with 1% milk or Lactaid milk. Cut up some fruit, like an apple or pear, to put in it. Or put a handful of raisins in the cereal.

Another breakfast: A low-fat yoghurt. A small glass (4 ounces) of orange juice.

Lunch: A sandwich on whole wheat bread. If you want meat, try turkey breast, and use ketchup or mustard, not mayo. Put lettuce and tomato on it, so you will get a vegetable. Or, eat an orange or banana with it. Drink water. If you want something sweet, have peanut butter and jelly. Eat an apple on the side.

Snack: Peanut butter and.... sliced apples, cut up celery, whole wheat toast. Low fat cream cheese and .... cut up celery, whole wheat toast. A low-fat yoghurt. 10 pretzel sticks, and a tablespoon of peanut butter. One (not more than one) slice of cold pizza.

Dinner: Pasta with tomato sauce on it and frozen greens or spinach on the side, heated up. Pasta with one tablespoon of olive oil on it, and frozen peas mixed in. Any fish, baked in a dish with a little water and lemon juice on it. Have a vegetable on the side. A baked sweet potato with one teaspoon of margarine on it, and some vegetables. Brown rice and beans, with hot sauce and greens. Brown rice and steamed broccoli.
