You'll find some ads above for detox programs, and some others for diet pills. Please click on the ads, since that's what supports the website. But then, my best suggestion for you is to go to the Personal Quiz, take it, and then read the Personal Report. It'll give you some simple ideas of ways to lose weight that are safe. Diet pills are not a safe way to lose weight. Also, the weight you lose on diet pills will probably just come back when you stop taking them.
Detox diets are based on the idea that there are poisons or toxins in your body. This probably isn't true. If you eat fast food, you are right that there's unhealthy stuff in there. But, within a day or two, you are going to poop it out, and then it isn't in you anymore.
Detox diets are basically cures for constipation. Do you poop every day? Your poops should be soft and shouldn't hurt coming out. They should be a log, not little pellets. People who eat a lot of junk food are usually constipated. That's because there aren't a lot of fruits or vegetables in a junk food diet. So, the best way to get your gut working better is to eat fruit every day and eat vegetables every day. Really, what would be best is to eat fruit and vegetables FIVE TIMES A DAY!
What about detox diets? These diets usually involve a strict diet of only certain food and and lots of water or herbal teas for a set time period. There's nothing wrong with drinking lots of water and homemade tea (avoid bought teas that have corn syrup in them -- they will make you fat). Also, eat lots of fresh, unprocessed fruits and vegetables. Avoiding fast food, red meats, fried foods, and high starch consumables is important to dieters. Positive food selections include herbs, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and fish are most beneficial.
Here's the catch. This diet is just eating healthy! If you want to call it a detox diet, go ahead, but don't do it for a set period of time. Make these healthy changes forever! How will you make them last forever? One small change at a time! Please go to the Personal Quiz, take it and then read the Personal Report. It'll get you started on making small, healthy changes that you can stick with.
